The hostesses welcome us to our group lunch...how cute are they!
Here we are at an authentic Chinese restaurant with the 18 families who are adopting babies through our agency. Today we met all the other couples who are adopting through USAA today...which was great--meeting a few other women who are as wiped out as I am somehow made me feel better. What is that saying, "misery loves miserable company!"
Everyone is excited and nervous. It is pretty amazing. We all get to share such an incredible experience. Kind of like group labor!!! And we are all going to be in the delivery room at the same time. How wild is that?
